Have you ever wanted to learn how to sign, but don’t know where to start? This is the class for you to unfold your potential signing skills. Students will learn the basic language structure of American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf culture through fun activities. This is a combined course designed to introduce you to American Sign Language (ASL) and Finger spelling as it is used within Deaf Culture. You will also learn how to use facial grammar, expressive and receptive skills to communicate in ASL, and intriguing facts about Deaf culture and community.
