Aikido training focuses on redirecting energy rather than opposing it. Through guided practice, you will build confidence by facing fears and learning to transform tension into focused, creative energy. Students will practice joint locks, safe falling and rolling, and circular movement patterns that emphasize control, awareness, and self-development.
Instructor is a second-degree black belt.
Requirements:
- Ages 18+
- No equipment required. Students should come in a t-shirt and sweatpants. Please no jewelry or piercings.
- Participants should be able to safely perform falls and joint movement; consult a physician if unsure
