Upcycling 1: The Jeans Tote. Discover the art of upcycling as you turn old jeans into a durable, unique tote bag! This class teaches essential sewing techniques, garment deconstruction, and design skills. Students will practice working with heavy materials, learn about sustainable fashion principles, and explore creative ways to reduce waste. By the end, you’ll have a personalized tote bag and the knowhow to upcycle other items in your wardrobe, helping you craft with style and purpose. Prerequisite: Sewing 1. Limit 8 students.
